Visitamos la ciudad prehispánica de Montealbán, la cual vivió su mayor auge entre los años 500 a.C. al 800 d.C. y fue una de las primeras en establecerse en Mesoamérica. Sus fundadores provenían de comunidades del valle y hablaban una versión antigua del zapoteco. En 1987 fue declarada Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.





In this tour, we will visit the pre-Hispanic city of Montealbán, which had its peak between 500 BC 800 A.D. and was one of the first to settle in Mesoamerica. Its founders came from communities in the valley and spoke an old version of Zapotec. In 1987 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO
